Hello Gina!
I hope this posts, somehow I think I posted a note on the 2009 blog site! Your mom is doing good, talked to her today. She was glad to hear from you Sunday. I'm so happy you made it safely to Afrida, I know your excited. Your mom was happy to get the flowers you sent. Your mom talked to Jess this morning, all is well. I pray your journey is safe and God is you and those you serve. Take care and have a great time! Love, Kim

My prayers are with each and everyone of you, know that at 7:00 Uganda time, my lunch break here in USA, I will be in my car praying for you all. God's favor with the team for the travels today and throughout the whole trip. Happy Mother's day to those of you that are Mom's, what a great way to express the love of a mom but by serving God's children.

Team Update Thursday
Hi everyone,
I heard from Carol Kimmons that she and John arrived safely in Chad. It is really hot there, over 100 degrees during the day and the 90s at night. She and John have to sleep outside under a mosquito net. She thanks everyone for their prayers.
Well, this is our last night in Uganda. I have mixed emotions about leaving. This life is so laid back and you can see Jesus everywhere. We went to Bugegala Falls, the water fall that I went down last year on the Nile, OHHHHHHHH! I can't believe I did it. We went to KingFisher today and had tilapia and chicken for lunch and then went for an hour boat ride down the Nile. We saw the "source" of the Nile and saw some beautiful birds and a rather large monitor lizard EEK!! on the shore. I am glad we were in a boat.
Please pray for us as we start our journey home tomorrow, we need them. It is going to be a LOOOONG trip home, the worst part of the trip. All of our lives have been changed and none of us will be the same ever again. See you on Saturday!!!!
