Hi everyone,
I heard from Carol Kimmons that she and John arrived safely in Chad. It is really hot there, over 100 degrees during the day and the 90s at night. She and John have to sleep outside under a mosquito net. She thanks everyone for their prayers.
Well, this is our last night in Uganda. I have mixed emotions about leaving. This life is so laid back and you can see Jesus everywhere. We went to Bugegala Falls, the water fall that I went down last year on the Nile, OHHHHHHHH! I can't believe I did it. We went to KingFisher today and had tilapia and chicken for lunch and then went for an hour boat ride down the Nile. We saw the "source" of the Nile and saw some beautiful birds and a rather large monitor lizard EEK!! on the shore. I am glad we were in a boat.
Please pray for us as we start our journey home tomorrow, we need them. It is going to be a LOOOONG trip home, the worst part of the trip. All of our lives have been changed and none of us will be the same ever again. See you on Saturday!!!!

Well,14 days of seeing Jesus thru the faces of children and adults alike... how amazing is that...
Kathy, 22 yrs old female, mute... Jesus is the dumb to speak for her.
David, 36 yrs old male, married with 2 children (one is epileptic),disabled by polio; spiritual father and tailor of GSF ... Jesus is the crippled to walk with Him. You should see David pedalling along his modified bike on an unpaved incline with his hands... sweating and smiling!
Mary,16 months old beautiful baby girl, about to be adopted...Jesus is the homeless about to be taken in.
Rose,7 yrs old girl, weighs only 10 lbs, emaciated,arms contracted, hands clinched, legs decorticated and scissored ....Jesus is the unwanted to be wanted.
Of the 900 people that we saw at the clinic, 40 we sent to the hospital....Jesus is the sick to be healed.
What about those soccer shoes and childrens clothes... Jesus is the naked to be clothed.
These... and much much more,the beautiful sunsets, the magnificient sunrises,the perfect rainbows.. what about those colorful Malachi birds and the weaver bird symphony.... Jesus is the love to be loved, the joy to be shared
,the peace to be given.
What about those 9 angelic women bunked in a 16 x 14 room and 3 cherubic men in the other room , ah...they are Jesus hands and feet.
A glimpse of heaven comes to mind.What about you ?
